The Mission of SSU is to prepare people, through academic, personal, and spiritual development, for a life of justice, beauty, and compassion, enabling a humble, creative engagement with their world. Proudly the smallest university in Canada, St. Stephen's University is a premier Liberal Arts university that accepts only 30 new students per year. SSU offers degrees in Humanities, Psychology and International Studies, including world travel for two complete semesters. Given the choice, many students would prefer to study in a learning community in which they are known, and given one-to-one attention. With a student body of less than 120, this unique university can focus on each student's innate aptitudes, drawing out their passions and preparing them for a career that fits who they are.
